Registration Cancellation & Refund Policy (Richmond Perfume School London™ Courses)
Payment of the course fees or signing this form constitutes official agreement and legal commitment to the school’s financial policy outlined below:
1. Course Nature:
The student acknowledges that this course is held over a single day only, and securing a place requires prior arrangements. Consequently, places are strictly limited and subject to rigorous cancellation policies.
2. Cash Refund Conditions:
6 Days or More Prior to the Course: The student is entitled to cancel their registration and receive a refund of the amount paid, subject to a deduction of 50% of the total course fee as an administration and seat-retention fee.
Less than 6 Days Prior to the Course: The student shall not be entitled to claim a refund for any part of the paid fees under any circumstances. The student shall bear the full cost of the course due to the inability to reallocate the place and source course materials at short notice.
3. Absence and Non-Attendance:
In the event that a student fails to attend on the scheduled course day (for any reason whatsoever), the registration shall be deemed automatically cancelled. Paid fees will be forfeited in full, and the participant shall have no right to claim a refund or transfer the fees to another course.
4. Alternative Options (In lieu of refund):
Should a student be unable to attend, and provided the administration is notified in writing at least 24 hours prior to the course commencement, the school offers the following alternatives to prevent forfeiture of fees:
Remote Attendance (Online): Converting the physical attendance ticket into virtual attendance via the internet (subject to the availability of a live stream or a recorded version of the course).
Nominating a Substitute: Submitting the name of an alternative person to attend the course in their stead, provided the school administration is formally notified via email to amend the attendance records.
5. Course Cancellation or Postponement by the School:
In the event that the course is cancelled or postponed by the school administration due to unforeseen circumstances, the student shall be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid without any deductions, or they may choose to opt into the rescheduled date.
6. Application Procedure:
Requests for cancellation or for activating an alternative option must be submitted in writing via the school’s official email address. Eligible requests will be processed, and refunds issued within [7 to 10] working days.
